He’s Big, Bold & Imposing, And He’s Already Up And Running!
Purchased at the 2017 Magic Millions Gold Coast 2yo's in Training Sale, this 2 year old colt by Bullet Train is from a very good, predominately Western Australian winning family.
Offered as Lot 236, he breezed up in 10.66 without being asked for an effort and looks like a natural runner. You can watch the video below...
Bullet Train, the three quarter brother to the unbeaten World Champion galloper FRANKEL, is producing great looking types and his oldest Australian progeny are just 3 year olds. One of them is Gun Bolt who has won and placed at his only two starts running in our own Grand Syndicates colours. Having just his second start at the races after being placed first up, he sat three deep the entire journey, copped a buffeting turning for home but still kept on improving and got up to win. It was an amazing performance, and his trainer has a very big opinion of him saying that he'll go through to open class.
This colt, a year younger than Gun Bolt, looks to be very progressive too. He's from the dual winning More Than Ready mare She's Ready, who at stud has produced three foals to race for two winners, they being We're Ready, a winner of five, and At The Ready who has won 3 races to 2200m, also running fourth in the Melvista Stakes and sixth in The WA Derby from just 10 starts to date as at the time of writing.
The first three dams of this colt have all been multiple winners who in turn have produced multiple winners at stud. It's the family of the Group 1 Kingston Town Classic winner PERFECT REFLECTION (5 wins at Group & Listed level), REFLECTED IMAGE (Group 2 WA Oaks), IDEAL IMAGE (6 wins including the La Trice Classic, Jungle Dawn Classic and the Burgess Queen Stakes), NEW IMAGE (6 wins including the Belmont Oaks and Matchmaker Classic), ELUSIVE IMAGE (Belmont Classic) etc...
Since the sale in November, he’s been brought over to Perth where he’s been spelled and had a minor operation to remove part of a splint bone that he knocked on the trip over, and it's trainer Martin Allan's opinion that it won't take too long before he's up and trialling and then ready to race.
So, if it's action you're after, then here's your horse. Martin’s taken a share in the colt himself, I’ve taken a share in him myself, and now all we need is 18 others to join us.
With a little bit of luck, we could all be standing together right where we all want to be - IN THE WINNERS CIRCLE!
This is a 20 share partnership priced at $3,630 each with fixed syndicate fees of $220/month ($7/day) which are calculated to cover all normal and expected costs associated with owning a racehorse. Brochures, including the PDS (Product Disclosure Statement) are now available by email.
