XAARPHONIC WINS AGAIN!

Feb 24, 2011

The ever blossoming Xaarphonic continued on his winning way at Ascot yesterday when taking out race 3, the AHG Handicap over 1800m.

Apprentice jockey Hayley Diener once again showed good judgement when she rode Xaarphonic as cold as a well diggers backside. She let him drop out at the rear of the field from barrier rise, and was content to ride him for luck after turning for home knowing that she had the benefit of the cutaway rail looming.  Hugging the rail all the way up the straight, Hayley showed the vigour of a much more seasoned postillion to drive Xaarphonic to an exciting win!

This victory was win number six for Xaarphonic and he's now won four of his last five runs. Under the care of his new (latest) trainer Kevin McAuley, he's blossomed to produce career best form, and Kev has the Bunbury and Pinjarra Cups double firmly on his radar...
