Any colt that can win 4 times at the elite level in world racing has to be considered a serious future stallion prospect, and that’s exactly how it’s turned out for Olympic Glory.

The best performed son of CHOISIR, Olympic Glory had 15 starts for 8 wins before being retired to stud. Among those 8 wins were 4 as a 2 year old, a season where he was crowned Joint Champion juvenile in France. In his 3yo season he was the Joint Champion Miler in Europe & Great Britain, and also the Champion Miler in France for that year, 2013. Amongst his wins were the prestigious Lockinge Stakes at Newbury, and he also won on the biggest stage of all taking out the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Royal Ascot. As a stallion, his oldest progeny in Australia are just 2yo’s, but in the Northern Hemisphere where they have a six month advantage, he’s already seeing his sons and daughters enjoy racetrack success including at Stakes level.

This impressive colt by Olympic Glory was purchased from Book 1 at the Magic Millions yearling sale on the Gold Coast. He’s a half brother to a Stakes Winner, and hails from a very successful European family having success predominantly in France but also England too. It’s the family of SAKHEE the Group 1 Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe winner-the race that many consider to be the most prestigious of all world races to win.

Based on both his pedigree and his impressive physique, our impression is that he’ll be a chance to run as a two year old, but be at his best as a three year old and older horse at races around the 1600m mark. Assuming he shows enough talent (which applies to every young horse), we’d like to think he’ll be a suitable candidate for a prestigious race such as the WA Guineas.

He’ll be trained at Ascot by Martin Allan, and I’m very confident that Martin will give him every possible chance to get both him-and more importantly-you, into the Winners Circle!

This is a 20 share syndicate priced at $4,400 each, which includes the fall of hammer price, transport from QLD to WA, insurance to 1/8/19, breaking in and all agistment and associated costs to June 30th 2019. After that date, from July 1st, the syndicate fees are fixed at $638.75 per calendar quarter, which equates to exactly $7/day, an amount which is calculated to cover all normal costs.
