Belhus Racing has found themselves a smart customer in the form of Prize Catch and the West Australian-based four-year-old looks mighty hard to beat at Belmont on Saturday.

The Lindsey Smith-trained chestnut is a major player in tomorrow's David Gray's Aglink Handicap (Race 5-1650m) and is expected to continue Belhus' brilliant winter form, with four winners from 11 runners since July 22.

Prize Catch was having his second run back from an eight-week break when coming from wide, and worse than midfield in running to score a dominant Belmont midweek victory on Wednesday August 2.

The handsome son of Zoffany is stepping up in class for Saturday's assignment, however, he did race competitively against quality Saturday opposition during his three-year-old season, and multiple Group 1 winning trainer Lindsey Smith has a particularly strong opinion of this fellow.

Smith's regular go-to-apprentice Randy Tan has built up a strong association with Prize Catch and again has the reins, having steered him to victory last start.
