Bobby Benzine and Xaarphonic are entered for the Perth Cup and both are quoted at 300/1 in first markets!
They’re also both acceptors for the 2200m race at Ascot this Saturday and they’re not without a chance of winning either. If either is to make the Cup field, then they must be winning on Saturday. It’s not completely a mad decision to enter them for the Cup. Two years ago, Guest Wing got into the field and won the big race as a 69 rater, so a win on Saturday would lift either horse above that benchmark.
