The Colt – Strength, Presence, and Pedigree
This striking colt is out of No Tricks, a high-quality Savabeel mare who won four races up to 2000m, including two at Listed level in New Zealand. She’s already proven herself as a broodmare, with both of her runners to date being winners.
While his pedigree suggests he’ll relish a mile and beyond, it was his physique that really caught our eye. He’s a strong, well-grown colt with excellent conformation—one that moves with confidence and purpose.
The Plan – From Break-In to Big Races
After a short spell post-sale in New Zealand, he’ll begin his journey to Perth by first stopping in Melbourne, where he’ll be broken in by Joe Cunningham, the expert horseman who handles most of our young stars. Following a brief let up, he’ll then head west to join the stables of top trainers Grant & Alana Williams who know exactly how to prepare a serious racehorse.

Presented at the 2024 Magic Millions Perth Yearling Sale by myself, Peter Morley as the breeder, he was bought back under the Belhus Racing Stables banner to syndicate and race. Since then, he’s been broken in, been given plenty time to mature, and recently completed his first educational prep during October/November. After a scheduled spell through December and January, he’ll start back in work in February with a view to getting to his first official trial. *Note that the purchase price of your share includes ALL COSTS right through to the end of March 2025, so once you’ve bought your share, there’s nothing more to pay until April 2025!
He’ll be trained at Bullsbrook by Stephanie Bakranich, one of WA’s most respected boutique trainers. Known for his relentless energy and attention to detail, Brock brings a unique flair—an ex-pat Kiwi and former movie stunt rider! His achievements include taking Fat Roy Slim to five consecutive wins during his last campaign and capturing the Kalgoorlie trainers premiership in the 2022/23 season. Brock’s skills will give this filly the edge she needs, and with his frequent updates to owners, you’ll enjoy having your horse trained by Brock.
An Affordable Path to Racehorse Ownership
The share price is $2,730, which includes the original share purchase price of $1,980 and the syndicate fees covering the Oct-Dec quarter, already paid through the end of 2024. Why cover the syndicate fees in the price? Because it’s only fair: early investors who have been contributing since October 1st won’t pay more than those joining today. The monthly syndicate fee is a fixed price, stress-free $250 (approx $58/week), billed quarterly, and it covers all essential costs—racing, training, agistment, vet care, and syndicate management—ensuring a worry-free, enjoyable ownership experience. Whilst we only bill the fees quarterly, we pay out your share of any prizemoney on a monthly basis, so 12 times a year.
