GREAT WATERS delighted his throng of owners when winning at Belmont Park on Wednesday! Appearing first up after a spell and having only his fifth start in a race, the Dundeel four year old went into this race without a trial, settled a little worse than midfield, and under an inspirational ride from Mitch Pateman who showed a lot of vigor in the straight and gave one a shoulder charge in an effort to get through (for which he received a 10 day suspension), he bullocked his way to the front to hold on to a narrow from the fast finishing Yamatai.
