Brave Shot lived right up to his name when he drove through the tightest of gaps to get up and win in a thrilling finish at Pinjarra on Thursday. Racing third up in this prep, and with top jock Clint Johnston-Porter doing the steering after a tardy start, it was only until the last 100m that he looked to be a chance. The pair got the split and Brave Shot did the rest to bring up his first win at what was his 8th start in a race. Now that he’s broken through for his first win, let’s hope there’s a few more to follow!
