Superb placement and a fit, talented horse was the key to Zaza Rock winning The Toodyay Cup this year. The only metro grade horse entered for the meeting, she looked to be a good thing in the Cup and a heady ride by jockey Kyra Yuill ensured she made the best of it. There was a terrific crowd in attendance on this festival day, good spirits prevailed, and by the sounds of the cheers as she crossed the line, a fair few of them were on Zaza Rock.
The win continued on the good form showed by Zaza Rock, taking her record to 21 starts for 4 wins, 8 seconds and over $158,000 in prizemoney. Congrats to all owners!
