Knowing that I was looking to place a horse or two with him this year, trainer Michael Lane recommended that we should start by buying this filly. Hellbent fillies are hot property on the east coast and are very hard to get hold of, given that he’s a top 20 Australian stallion on both the Leading Sires list for Wins, and the Leading Sires list for Earnings. His four best performers, MAGIC TIME, BENEDETTA, HELL HATH NO FURY and KRISTILLI are all fillies and mares.
This is a light framed filly, an early October foal, much in the same mould as our own 3 time winner Desert Whisper, and she shouldn’t take long at all to get to the races. For that reason, she’ll be paid up for The Magic Millions Perth Race Series, and she’s also a Westspeed horse too, so she’s got plenty of bonuses to run for. Of course, she’ll be trained by Michael Lane.
