This was love at first sight for me, and from the first time I saw her, I wanted her racing in the Belhus colours. A well grown filly with plenty of scope about her, she’s got correct conformation, she’s a great mover, and importantly, a terrific temperament too. She was an absolute sweetie at inspections, was well admired by all, and she was my most expensive purchase of the 6 I bought at the sale. Like I said, she’s the one I wanted.

Ghaiyyath was a superstar on the track being crowned European Horse Of the Year in 2020. He won 9 races from 1600m to 2400m, has already had winners in the Northern Hemisphere, and is set to become a prominent stallion in the Southern Hemisphere too. Out of a dual winning Reliable Man mare who also ran fourth in the Geelong Classic (L) as a 3yo, this filly is a half sister to Double Glazed who was a winner over 2150m in Queensland in January.

She’s a filly that I’d like to be aiming at races such as the Ascot 1000 Guineas (1800m), the Natasha Stakes (2200m) and The WA Oaks (2400m) in her three year old year.  Eligible for the Westspeed Bonus Scheme, she’ll be trained at Bullsbrook by Stephanie Bakranich.
