Our 2 year old gelding by Bullet Train from She’s Ready is a good looking, athletic type of young horse with plenty of size about him, and on the weekend just gone, he had a significant upgrade to his pedigree page with his half brother ‘At The Ready’ winning the Geraldton Cup.
By Myboycharlie, At The Ready is the 4 year old out of the mare ‘She’s Ready’ and has now won 5 races and just over $155,000 in prize money with the very realistic potential of much more to come. His wins have come between 1400m and 2200m, and in fact four of them have been over 2000m+. Interestingly, the mare’s only other progeny to run has won 5 races too!
Although only a 2yo, our boy out of She’s Ready is the biggest horse in the stable and has a giant stride! Everything about him says ‘STAYER’, we’ve tagged him as our Derby horse for 2019, and it’s our intention to have him ready to perform at his best over the 2400m classic journey this time next year.
