Trainer Luke Oliver pulled one out of the bag with a very good training effort to win with our dour stayer Elms at Pakenham on February 9th. The geldings first three runs during this campaign were quite disappointing, however with the benefit of a few tweaks here and there, and the engagement of top jock Brad Rawiller, elms got up to score at 25/1!
Luke will now increase the distances of Elms’ races withnthevaim of eventually getting him out to 2400m and further…
