Hemlock Stone is an exciting horse. He’s a New Zealand bred staying type that’s been given plenty of time to mature.
A trial winner at Lark Hill on July 24th, he made his race debut at Northam in early August and impressed us when finishing on for fourth after being caught wide for the majority of the race.
His next run was at Belmont Park on August 23rd where he started a short priced favourite and was the easiest of winners in a 1400m maiden under the guidance of William Pike.
