At the Magic Millions Yearling Sale earlier this year, I bought this filly by Marine One from Bound Copy, and she’s a half sister to Bassett Hound as well as 3 other winners (the mare is now four from four). At just $25,000, I’d say that at this stage, that makes her pretty much the bargain buy from the 2026 Perth Magic Millions Yearling Sale.
As soon as the auctioneer’s gavel fell at the Magic Millions sale, trainer Michael Lane came over to our table saying that he liked her a lot and would love to train her, and of course I said YES!
She’s a Westspeed Platinum horse too, so that means plenty of bonus money to run for through her 2 and 3 year old seasons.
