From the family of the multiple Group 1 winning VOILE D’OR and the Group 1 STC Mercedes Classic winner CURATA STORM, comes this great looking colt by the popular Western Australian speed stallion ROMMEL.

A dual Stakes winner, Rommel’s best two wins were in his classic year when he won both the Group 3 Zeditave Stakes over 1200m in Melbourne, and the Group 2 WA Guineas over 1600m in Perth. As a stallion at stud, he’s proving to be very popular in Western Australia where his best progeny include the brilliant dual Group 3 winner SNOWDOME, as well as the Hong Kong winner Tourbillon Prince, and Fiorucci Mama, Men’s Club, Catch These Hands, Rocapozzene, Ultimate Command, Bandalere Beau, Rommel’s Jeuney, Shaka Zulu etc.

Purchased from the 2024 Magic Millions Perth Yearling Sale, this handsome colt is one of the better looking Rommel’s that you’d see. Bigger framed than most of the breed, with a gorgeous dark coat and plenty of presence about him, he’s a very good physical type who takes the eye. He’s got a great big stride on him, a beautiful walk with a loose hip action, a bit of a swagger actually, and a perfect overstep which you can see on the slow motion video which is available on our website. He’s out of a 5 time winning, stakes placed mare who at stud has had three to race for 2 winners, both being city winners at that. His half brother (out of the same mare) Green Shadows was good enough to win over $250,000…

Because he gives the indication that he’s likely to run early, he’s been nominated for the Magic Millions Race Series in Perth which features a $250,000 race for Magic Millions sale graduates as both 2 & 3 year olds.
