A son of Champion stallion Redoubte’s Choice, Panzer Division was a Group 3 winner on the track before being retired to stand at Arrowfield Stud in NSW. So far he’s only had 20 runners to represent him, however 10 of them have been winners including Panzdown who most followers of Perth racing will know as a winner of 5 races to date.
This young horse is an August foal so he’s very forward, and he’s already been broken in (video available). At the time of writing he measured 15.3 hands high, and it’s my estimation that he’ll grow to be 16 hands high by the time he matures.
He’s being trained in Perth by Tiarna Robertson, who’s best known to Perth racegoers as the trainer of the brilliant mare FABERGINO. Tiarna, along with her partner Andrew, have a very good setup in the Swan Valley and take their horses to Ascot trackwork on a daily basis.
