By the very good winner producing stallion UNIVERSAL RULER, this filly is from Adore Me, a winner of 2 races from just 6 starts. As a broodmare at stud, her first foal (the unraced 3yo) is deceased, her second foal is a 2yo yet to be named, and this filly is her third foal, so there’s nothing to discredit the mare which is something I always look for when examining pedigrees. In fact, when you do examine this filly’s pedigree, you can see straight away that it’s full of winners-and black type winners at that!

Every Dam on the page is a winner, and both her second and third Dams are both stakes winners, each having won The Champion Fillies Stakes! As broodmares at stud, they’ve also produced multiple winners too!  HI ON LOVE won 7 races between 1000m and 1600m, and at stud, she’s had 7 to race and ALL HAVE BEEN WINNERS. The filly’s third Dam DANCE HI also won The Champion Fillies Stakes as a 3 year old, and her 5 wins were from 1300 to 1600m.  At stud she’s had 8 to race and they too have ALL HAVE BEEN WINNERS. Stand outs on this filly’s pedigree page are the Group 1 winners BARAKEY (13 wins including the Winterbottom Stakes) and MAGNIFISIO whose 14 wins also included the Group 1 Winterbottom Stakes as well as The Lee-Steere Stakes, The Roma Cup, a Summer Scorcher and The Northam Stakes twice! There’s such depth to this pedigree and this’ll hold our new filly in good stead for when it’s eventually her turn to go to stud too and continue on the family dynasty.

It’s very rare if a week goes by with a Universal Ruler winning a race or two. Think of horses such as THE VELVET KING, LADY COSMOLOGY, BAMS ON FIRE, YONGA LASS, REBEL KING, AZTEC RULER and the like, and you get an idea of the type of progeny he can produce. He sits at very close to 60% winners to runners ratio which is very good by industry standards.

The filly herself being an August foal, is a strong, forward type with an impressive physique. She’s a sprinter through and through, and given a little bit of time, we’re tipping that races in the 1200m-1600m will be her preferred distance. She’s Westspeed Platinum eligible too, so there’s plenty of bonuses for her to run for through her two- and three-year-old seasons.

She’ll be trained by Grant & Alana Williams, and as the leading trainers in WA, they hardly need any introduction at all. They’ve produced a raft of high-class fillies over the last ten or so years, and whilst they’re patient with them early, the results sure do seem to follow afterwards. This is a quality Westspeed Platinum filly with a very desirable pedigree who’ll be trained by Grant & Alana Williams. And that’s a recipe for success.
