Key To The Mak gave her owners plenty to cheer about in these uncertain times when winning the last race at Geelong on Thursday!

With the track rated a Heavy 10, she once again showed her liking for the wet when she came with a run right down the outside to win pretty easily in the end by a widening 1 length margin. Her outside barrier proved to be a blessing, and jockey Dan Stackhouse kept her three and four deep with cover until he made his run just before turning for home. With the field all making their way to the middle and outside of the rain soaked track, Dan had Key To The Mak right up along the outside fence which made for a great winning photo!

Only lightly raced due to a few niggling little issues along the way, Key To The Mak has been well managed by trainer Luke Oliver and she now has the record of 7 starts for 2 wins and 3 placings. Judging by the way she’s returned at her two runs this time in, there looks to be plenty more for her owners to cheer about as we get further into Autumn and Winter…
