For $1,100 a Share, You Could Have A Lot Of Fun With This Nice Colt!

What a great looking colt this is! I scored him 8/10 at the yearling sale and that’s very high and very rare for me as I’m usually very conservative at the many sales I attend each year…

Presented as Lot 408 at the 2016 Magic Millions Adelaide Yearling Sale, he took my eye straight away. I gave him a score of 8/10 for physical attributes which is about the highest I ever score a yearling (there aren’t many 9’s and I’ve never given a 10) because he’s a good size (not too big), he’s got a good head and neck, he’s well muscled in both the fore and hind quarters and just the right length relative to his height, he’s got great legs, and as a bonus, he’s got plenty of that all important ‘presence’ about him too which I admire so much in a horse.

Although I bought him purely on type-meaning in horse terms, that in my opinion, he’s an outstanding athletic individual, he’s got a bit of a pedigree too. He’s by BIANCONI (by DANZIG) who was a very good winner producing stallion. A Group 2 winner himself, as a stallion he’s sired 554 individual winners at a strike rate in excess of 60% which in stallion performance terms, is very good.

On the female side of his pedigree, he’s a half brother to three winners and there’s plenty of black type throughout his pedigree, and frankly I could waffle on about it all day, but I keep coming back to physical conformation and athletic prowess, and the old adage that ‘you buy the horse first and then the page’. In short, he’s a cracker of a colt and to my eye, he looks a real runner!

I’m offering this horse into a 20 share syndicate priced at $1,100/share with fixed syndicate fees of $638.75 per calendar quarter which works out to be exactly $7/day. That amount is calculated to incorporate all training and agistment costs, farriery, transport, some if not all veterinary expenses, and professional management of the syndicate which includes all the necessary administration, keeping up the communications and information flow between the stable and the owners, and of course the all important paying out of any prizemoney earned too!

He’s a beauty and I can’t wait to stand in the Winners Circle with him-and of course with you too as one of his owners…
