I’m a bit confident about the chances of ‘Bobby Benzine’ at Ascot on Wednesday.
He’s in race 2, a 54-64 event (the old class 1) over 2200m. I reckon that he’s got a few things in his favour here. Firstly he’s in his class, secondly he’s drawn well, thirdly he’s been working well and I can see improvement in his coat over the last few weeks, and fourthly he’s got ‘Dashing’ Danny Miller on board-which for a front running stayer is a bit of a plus.
All in all, I think he’s good each way value at around eight or ten to one….
