With 3 consecutive wins followed by 3 consecutive seconds at his last 6 starts, FLURO NEURO enjoyed a profitable campaign which saw his rating go to an all time personal high for him of 88.
Racing exclusively in Saturday company, those three wins were at Ascot, Ascot and Bunbury (their stand alone meeting on Cup/Stakes day), and his seconds were all in Listed company, unbelievably all to the same horse-Watch Me Rock-who’s winning progression took his rating to 93. In what was an agonising period for Fluro’s owners, they saw him get beaten by a neck, a short head and a neck to Watch Me Rock in those Stakes races, and I’ll bet they can’t wait for the ‘match races’ to start again when both horses return.
After a nice spell, Fluro Neuro will return for an attempt to win his first stakes race as we get into Autumn and Spring racing…
