With the almost insatiable demand for thoroughbred yearlings continuing through the 2022 sales series and driving average and median prices up higher than they’ve ever been before, it’s getting harder and harder to buy a nice horse without breaking the bank. And that effect flows on of course, to what we charge when we offer horses for syndication. We’re always on the lookout for one that might slip through the cracks so to speak, and with this colt, we just might have found one. He’s by Universal Ruler, who’s one of the better winner producing stallions in WA, and he’s from a mare who’s had 8 to race for 6 winners. He’s going to be trained at Ascot by Tiarna Robertson. With 5% shares priced at just $2,790 each, I can confidently say that we won’t be offering them any cheaper this year!
