The Martin Allan trained He’s A Gunslinger (Bullet Train) chalked up the second win of his 11 start career when winning at Ascot on Wednesday and what a ride it was by leading apprentice Jade McNaught. She had the handsome gelding racing in the clear throughout, and after rounding them up on the home turn, he looked the winner all the way up the straight. The best backed horse in the race with a fluctuation of $8.00 into $5.50, he didn’t let his supporters down and it was great to get another win on the board with him especially after a couple of unlucky runs this time in. He’s A Gunslinger will now have an easy week in the paddock before being set for his next assignment which will most likely be on Perth Cup Day, January 4th 2020.
