Finally, albeit at only his third start in a race, STRIDE OUT showed us some of the potential that his trainer Robbie Laing has said that he’s had all along when finishing third at Geelong on Tuesday.
Up against a decent maiden field dominated by the red hot favourite, Stride Out sat three deep with cover and looked good getting home to grab the minor end of the prize and paying $11.50 for the place divvi!
Trainer Robbie Laing was not surprised by the effort as the horses’ work on the track has always been good and he’s shown ability right from when he first entered his stables. Let’s hope there’s more success to come with this muscular son of the good winner prosucing stallion Conatus…
