Two more winners for Rommel this week including our own Desert Whisper continues the great strike rate for the progeny of the WA Guineas winner, ROMMEL.  Desert Whisper was a winner at Pinjarra on Wednesday, and Desert Nymph was a winner at Belmont Park on Saturday. Both won as well fancied chances.

Yearlings by Rommel sold for an average of $65K at the 2024 Perth Magic Millions Yearling Sale, so you don’t have to pay a lot for them. As well as ourselves, other purchasers at the sale included Simon Miller, Luke Fernie, Neville Parnham, Paul Jordan, David Harrison, Ryan Hill, Michael Lane, etc. Rommel colts have average earnings of over $140,000 on the track and he is one of only a handful of active WA Sires with winners outside of WA. Rommel has sired winners in WA, the east coast, and in Hong Kong too. His biggest and best bred crop are current new season 2yo’s.

One of those new season 2yo’s is this colt out of Notjustaprettyface, being trained at Ascot by Luke Fernie.

A strapping colt with plenty of size and length about him, he’s a half brother to two winners including the recent Randwick winner Green Shadows-now the winner of 4 races and over $300,000. Importantly, he’s a Westspeed Platinum horse which meansthere’s a truckload of lucrative bonuses to be earned not only for wins but for placings too throughout his 2 & 3 yer old career. He’s also included in the Magic Millions Perth race series so is eligible to run in two x $250,000 races for Magic Millions graduates only as both a 2 and 3 year old. With all the bonuses to run for, he represents a terrific opportunity for owners to join in and have a lot of fun without having to spend a lot of money.

Full 5% shares in this new syndicate are $3,550. 2.5% shares are $1,775.
