The new racing season for 2013-2014 commenced with the meeting at Pinjarra on Thursday August 1st and our Victorian import CUE SEA took the honours in the opening race with a gutsy effort to win by three quarters of a length.
Ridden a treat by jockey Paul King, Cue Sea was in the box seat from his awkward barrier after just 300m and he enjoyed a good run througout and went on to win nicely. He obviously loved the soft conditions underfoot and it was good to see him break his maidn status at just his fourth run since arriving from Victoria.
The intention now is step him up in distance and give him a chance to show his best over 2000m and beyond…
