At Ascot on Saturday October 18th, he missed the jump by 4 lengths, but ran home from last on the corner to finish fifth, returning the fastest last 600m of the race, and just last Saturday on November 1st he produced another slashing run when he flew home from well back on the corner to finish fourth, getting to within 3/4 of a length of the winner and again returning the fastest last 600m (equal) of the race.
