Our new horse ‘IMMENSE’ has had just the ten starts and his form lline reads:

3,4,1,4,1,1,6,2,2,1.

That’s 10 starts for 9 Cheques-Wouldn’t you like to own a consistent horse like him!

At Canterbury on Wednesday January 16th, IMMENSE (pictured winning) won his fourth race from just 10 starts. He’s since been relocated to Perth where we think he’s got the potential to go right through to open company.

A very lightly raced stayer in the making, Immense’s record is 10 starts for 4 wins, 2 seconds, 1 third and 2 fourths. A model of consistency as you can see, he’s actually only missed the first 4 once out of his 10 starts, and on that occasion he was only 1.4 lengths from the winner in town three runs back.

This horse had 2 runs in New Zealand before coming to Australia where he won first up for new trainer Bjorn Baker. He’s won at Nowra, Newcastle, Wyong and now Canterbury, at 1200m (twice), 1600m and 1900m (today). Two starts ago he ran second over 2100m at Gosford beaten a short neck after leading for all but the last stride or two, and last time out he was in the first three all the way, took the lead after turning for home and fought off all challenges to win narrowly. He’s very versatile, he’s sound, he’s a bulldog, and he gives you everything he’s got every time he goes to the races. Isn’t that just the kind of horse you’d like to own?

Just a young 4yo gelding, IMMENSE is the type of galloper that could come to Perth and easily win more than his share of our staying races through the winter-and then hopefully, go on to bigger and better things…

A 10% share in IMMENSE is $7,250 and a 5% share is $3,625, both inc GST and ex Sydney. He’ll be trained in WA by Group 1 winning trainer Peter Giadresco at Bunbury.

So, if you’re looking for a young, progressive stayer with proven ability that can get you in the Winners Circle at Ascot and Belmont Park (or maybe the Bunbury, Broome or Kalgoolie Cups) for perhaps the next three to four years, then IMMENSE is the horse for you…

hoofnote: just 7.5% remains…
