Belhus Racing‘s home-bred four-year-old Deep Purple is showing some staying promise and has a perfect opportunity to make it two wins on the trot in the Roll The Dice Handicap (Race 7-2400m) at Bendigo on Saturday.
The Robbie Laing-trained daughter of Belhus stallion Illustrious Blue enjoyed a sweet run in transit at Bendigo on October 11 and well-and-truly cashed in, running right through the line to record a strong maiden victory with Damien Oliver in the saddle.
